Production and Process Engineer - Bekasi, Indonesia (Contract)

Job Summary:

As a Production and Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety, to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and identify bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for process deviations or failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their understanding of process parameters and best practices.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to evaluate new technologies and equipment for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the gypsum industry.
• Proficiency in using tools and technologies related to operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of process control systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
