Product Sourcing Officer (5-month contract)

Job Summary:


• Plan to execute on sourcing the offline/online sellers on different sources/platforms.
• Maintain and develop business relationships with market leader brands in Thailand and existing and new suppliers and market place merchants.
• Developing online merchandising and promotion proposals to achieve sales targets.
• Carry out analysis & survey to better understand merchant requirements and behavior.
• Identify, establish, and grow other local strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate negotiations of key commercial terms and conditions.
• Launch new Products required under the Supplier brand and OEM.
• Make an outbound contact to the prospect sellers to establish a deal and offer.
• Educate and provide the technical knowledge to new sellers with professional solutions.
• Responsible in content integrity, which includes product uploads, stock sync, and quality check.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to improve existing customer-facing products.
• Develop and sustain key transporter to improve operational efficiency, define a gap for improvement, and implement an innovative logistic solution.
• Benchmark operational best practice across all our platform’s 3PL portfolio. Liaising with relevant parties for continuous improvement.
• Manage and improve transport provider’s KPI e.g., SLA, failed delivery rate, %backlog, and the number of tickets.
• Solve problems concerning transportation and logistics systems.
• Work side-by-side with Seller and designers as part of a cross-functional team to define, prioritize, and deliver digital products that meet the needs and goals of the business.
• Coordinate daily activity to track the location and movement of goods and collaborate with 3PL for smooth operation.
• Merge business knowledge and expertise with statistical models in order to enhance the forecast while also integrating input from Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.
• Maintain and continually analyze the accuracy of demand forecasts and demand forecast volatility, and maintaining demand forecast parameters as necessary.
• Execute changes based on accuracy analysis and other driving factors including history, trends, and initiatives based on customer/field feedback.
• Ability to flex processes and analytics within the entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and autonomy.
• Lead the monthly consensus review meeting with a cross-functional team, capturing aggregated product line risks, adjustments to material plan, and opportunities for gap closures.


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Logistics Management, or related field.
• Having experience in product sourcing including online and offline channels.
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Having merchandising experience would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Familiar with excel and can use excel at an intermediate level.
