Senior Planning & Investment Analyst , Chemical Business

Job Summary:

Analyze business trend, industry landscape and competitive information to provide recommendations/consultation and formulate business strategy, explore and execute potential investment and new business opportunity, and review investment portfolios as well as business performance.

Job Description

• Business portfolio analysis and suggest potential improvement, new business development, investment & divestment
• Consolidate strategy for medium term plan and annual plan of the industry under supervision
• Analyze industry prospects by gathering information e.g. growth potential, competition, and substitute products
• Drive improvement and help industry leaders formulate strategy which will drive sustainable growth for SCGC
• Seek for potential investment opportunities and review business fundamentals and financial performance / projection
• Perform necessary activities for M&A, partnership and project investment including assumptions verification, business model/structure, business analysis and project management, terms and conditions negotiations with counterparty, and closing and business integration activities
• Coordinate with related parties to monitor/facilitate investment portfolio review for Strategy & Execution committee to drive business improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration,Finance, Engineering, Science or Related Fields.
• Achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 for Undergraduate and 3.3 for Post-graduate studies.
• Good communication in both spoken and written in English (required TOEIC at least 550)
• Having experiences at least 3 years  in Planning & Investment Analyst , Business Development and other related fields
• Have a commercial sense and Investment knowledge
• Strong strategic & analytical mind, with accuracy 
• Multitasking and ability to handle seasonally high workloads and stress well
• Well-organized and effective communication skill 
• Positive thinking , eagerness to learn
