ETL Developer (Microsoft SQL Server)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop ETL systems using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a data warehouse or target database.
• Design and improve workflows to enhance efficiency and support future data growth.
• Maintain and manage SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and data security.
• Create and review indexes, stored procedures and views, optimize queries.
• Monitor all job schedules within the ETL system to ensure smooth operation.
• Responsible for tracking the status of various tasks, such as SSIS package executions, scheduled tasks, and batch jobs.
• Provide alerts and manage issues that may arise in the scheduling process to ensure continuous and efficient system performance.
• Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure ETL processes are accurate and stable.
• Identify and resolve errors in the ETL process.
• Enhance existing ETL processes to be more flexible and adaptable to data changes.
• Prepare system documentation and user manuals to facilitate future system maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related filed
• At least 2-3 years of experience in designing and developing ETL systems.
• Having experience in Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS) will be an advantage.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and T-SQL.
• Having Knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Capable of managing time and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proactive with the ability to propose continuous improvements to work processes.
