Legal Counsel

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to the company's business units on a wide range of legal issues.
• Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Conduct legal research to stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.
• Assist in the negotiation and drafting of contracts with external parties.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance in business operations.
• Monitor and manage legal risks and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to mitigate them.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, when necessary.
• Stay informed about developments in the legal industry and proactively identify areas where legal advice or support may be required.
• Work closely with internal teams to provide training and guidance on legal matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 0-5 years' of experience as a legal counsel or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and other relevant legal areas.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
