Procurement Staff

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the purchasing of goods and services for the company.
• Identify potential suppliers and obtain quotes.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Place orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Participate in contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing principles.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Having at least 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Familiarity with sourcing and selecting suppliers.
• Negotiation skills for contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
• Understanding of sustainability and ethical sourcing principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
