Engineer-Process Control and Automation (Project Contract) - SCGC

Job summary
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining process automation systems (such as APC, RTO, …, etc.)  control & to ensure efficient and safe production operations. You will work closely with the process engineer, production engineers/technicians, DCS engineers and maintenance staffs to achieve optimal process performance

Key responsibilities                                                                                                                                       

1. Assist in the design and development of Process control system e.g. Advanced Process Control, Automatic procedures and PID tuning

2. Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing process control and automation system.

3. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement and test control strategies

4. Collect and Analyze process data to identify opportunities for operational improvement

5. Communicate and engage with production operation team in process control & automation application execution to maintain application performance.

6. Provide training to operators and engineer on the use of advanced process control system (APC) and Automation progra

Qualifications & Required competencies

- Bachelor - Master's in Chemicals Engineering, Control Engineering or any related fiel

- Programming language like PYTHON, VB

- Advance Process Control experience (especially Yokogawa PACE APC)

- Sequence programming (DCS), Yokogawa exapilot)

- Data Analytics & Visualization tool (such as OSISoft PI)
