Process Control and Automation Engineer (Rayong based), Chemicals Business

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining process control & automation systems (such as APC, RTO,.., etc.) to ensure efficient and safe production operations. You will work closely with the process engineer, production engineers/technicians, DCS engineers and maintenance staffs to achieve optimal process performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Real-time Optimization/Advanced Process Control and automatic procedure development following roadmap and execution plan to support optimization strategy and plant improvement
• Identify process control & optimization improvement opportunities
• Apply and maintain all developed process control and automation technologies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advanced process control system technologies and trends
• Communicate and engage with production operation team in process control & automation application execution to maintain application performance
• Provide training to operators and engineer on the use of advanced process control system (APC), RTO and Automation program 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 2.70 for undergraduate and 3.30 for postgraduate studies
• Good command of English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher)
• 1–3 years of experience in Process Control and Optimization 
• Proficiency in Power B
• Experience with Advanced Process Control (APC), especially Yokogawa PACE AP
• Familiarity with Sequence Programming (e.g., DCS, Yokogawa Exapilot)
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools, such as OSIsoft PI and Olefins process
• Willing to work in Rayong province
