Assistant Manager Sustainability Specialist - Amata IP, Dong Nai, Vietnam

Job Summary:

• Coordinate and accelerate activities as number 2.
• Recommend best practices, e.g. social.
• Update and share regulatory environment.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability programs, and when needed, recommending changes.
• Researching ways to incorporate recycled materials into a company's production line.
• Developing communication materials for staff regarding a company's sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Sustainability report - 'Honest Sustainability':

• External: Annual/public, customized/key customer.
• Internal: Refinement and cascading company roadmap, Metabolic analysis.
• Certifications: Recyclable, Recycled, Biodegradable.

• Carbon product footprint: Researching ways that a company can reduce its carbon footprint, such as switching its fleet vehicles from gas to electric.
• Engage customer sustainability teams/programs: Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering tailored sustainability solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for future growth and engagement.
• Supplier sustainability management system: Partnering with vendors that are committed to furthering green initiatives.
• Sustainability events: Organizing company-wide environmental volunteer activities, such as beach cleaning, recycling day, planting trees, ...
• Branding and communication.
• Coordinate with VKPC for ERP solutions.
• Internal training.

Qualifications:

• Technical or marketing/PR background.
• With at least 5-7 years of professional experience in Sustainability.
• Practical knowledge of carbon markets, renewable energy systems, and the financial implications of sustainability measures.
• Experience working with sustainability software or tools such as life cycle assessment software or carbon footprint calculators.
• Skills: Analytical skills, communication skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills.
