Job Function: Maintenance & Inspection Engineer 

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Execute Maintenance Activities: Prepare, perform, and follow up on the Annual Shutdown Plan, Preventive Maintenance (PM) works, and the overall PM program to ensure minimal downtime and efficient plant operation.
  • Instrumentation Inspection and Repairs: Instruct operators and conduct routine checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of instruments and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work collaboratively with technical experts and relevant departments to resolve technical issues and enhance instrument system performance.
  • Documentation and Procedures: Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation to ensure clarity, safety, and compliance.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit daily, monthly, and special reports related to instrumentation and maintenance activities.
  • Asset Management: Maintain tools, records, and equipment history accurately; ensure all instrumentation-related documents and resources are properly managed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in 5S, KAIZEN, TPM, and implement other management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and assist in emergency situations as required.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors to support departmental goals and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrument Engineering, or other related fields.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance practices is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), TPM, and KAIZEN principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • High sense of responsibility with a strong team-oriented and cooperative mindset.
